NATIONAL AUTOMATIC MERCHANDISING ASSOCIATION ADDS BLACKSTONE TO ITS MEMBERSHIP
Blackstone (www.blackstoneonline.com), one of the nation’s leading providers of prepaid products and services, announced today that they have become members of the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA).
Since 1936, NAMA (www.vending.org) has been the national trade association of the merchandising, vending, OCS, and contract foodservices management business. Its membership comprises of service companies, equipment manufacturers and suppliers of products and services to these businesses.
Mike Acton, Blackstone’s general manager, says, “We recently exhibited at NAMA’s Western Expo in Las Vegas and were overwhelmed with the positive response from the expo attendees to Blackstone, and specifically, to the Blackstone POS terminal.”
Blackstone has developed the most innovative point-of-sale system. By integrating the processing of all major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express & Discover Card) and ATM/bank cards with the sale of prepaid cellular and prepaid calling cards into one, easy-to-use POS terminal, Blackstone POS, is revolutionizing the electronic transaction industry.
According to Acton, “The vending operators already have relationships with their merchants, and we are giving them the opportunity to add an additional product to their current offerings and ultimately, increase their bottom line, and their merchants! It’s a win-win for everyone involved.”
