Drivers Can Now Purchase, Activate and Immediately Use a SunPass from Navarro Discount Pharmacy Locations
Just 9 days prior to all-electronic tolling to taking effect in Miami-Dade, officials from Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise and Navarro Pharmacies announced, that for the first time with no wait, customers now have the convenience of purchasing, activating and immediately using a SunPass.
This has been made possible with the “Touch-n-Buy” machines located at 20 Navarro Discount Pharmacies throughout Miami-Dade. “Touch-n-Buy” is a red machine where customers can activate a SunPass for immediate use, and they can also pay Florida Department of Transportation documents such as citations and late notices. "We are excited to offer this unique service for our customers,” said Cristy Leon-Rivero, V. P., Marketing and Public Relations for Navarro Discount Pharmacy Stores.
“As we move to the future of tolling, which is all electronic, we needed to provide options and immediate availability to motorists so they may enjoy the benefits of toll roads at their convenience,” added Orlando Torres, Deputy Director of Toll Operations at SunPass. Existing and future SunPass customers should also know other options available for crediting and activating their SunPass. Those options are as follows:
1. ”Prepaid” transponders are available at both ends of the Turnpike, the new Snapper Creek customer service center located at (MP19) and Okahumpka Service Plaza (MP 299).
2. Visiting SunPass recently upgraded website www.sunpass.com to query a retail partner and service location near you.
3. Or you can call SunPass customer service at 1-888-865-5352.
Florida’s Turnpike, SunPass and retailers such as Navarro are doing all they can to make the introduction of all-electronic tolling in Miami-Dade on February 19th a positive and safe driving experience.
