NACS SHOW 2003 SPOTLIGHTS THE BLACKSTONE PREPAID STOP™

The “Cool New Products Workshops” were created to give retailers and wholesale distributors a chance to hear directly from suppliers about new products and to learn techniques for using them to attract customers and build sales. Each session includes an 8-minute “sales call” from six of the twelve companies selected by a panel of retail members. Blackstone was selected to share information on its newest product, the Blackstone Prepaid Stop, a self-service interactive kiosk. The Prepaid Stop offers retailers an entire category of prepaid products and services – prepaid cellular & long distance calling cards, gift certificates & gift cards, home phone service, flowers, traffic school, newspaper subscriptions, prescription cards, loyalty programs, etc. - without worrying about staffing, inventory, shelf space, training or theft. The Blackstone Prepaid Stop does not display or store live inventory; e-PINs are delivered and the system prints the requested product once payment has been received. The NACS Show is the $290 billion convenience store and petroleum marketing industry’s premier event. The exposition, with more 370,000 square feet of exposition space and over 1200 exhibitors, has become the place to learn about new products and services.
