Elaine joins Blackstone from Cellit, a provider of customer interaction management solutions including communication channels such as voice, fax, e-mail and web chat, where she was a project coordinator. Prior to Cellit, Elaine was a copywriter for WPLG-TV, the ABC network affiliate in Miami. In her role as marketing coordinator, Elaine will be responsible for internal marketing, including newsletters, brochures, website updates, and presentations. This will include working with Blackstone employees and distributors in Miami, and across the country. In other news, Blackstone is pleased to announce that Ana Blanco has accepted the newly created position of Blackstone’s international sales manager; she was previously the southeast regional sales manager. According to Mike Acton, Blackstone’s general manager, “This position was created due to the tremendous interest in the Blackstone POS terminal from around the world”. Additionally, George Guerra, previously Blackstone’s sales trainer and development coordinator, has been promoted to southeast regional sales manager.
