BLACKSTONE MERCHANT SERVICES TO BE SHOWCASED DURING TASTE OF CUBA FESTIVAL
Blackstone Merchant Services’ newest product "Blackstone Mobile Pay" will be showcased during this year's Taste of Cuba Festival. Blackstone understands that it’s a fast and mobile world. Businesses are looking to be able to accept credit cards anytime, anywhere. The latest merchant service offering is a wireless payment solution that allows small businesses to process transactions virtually anywhere by using an existing smart mobile phone and turning it into a point of sale device. Blackstone Mobile merchant allows a secure login to an app on both iPhone and Android and other smart devices which can be used to process card present swiped transactions. Now small business owners that would never have been able to work with traditional processing systems or justify the expense of purchasing mobile payment terminals can process Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover®, Diners® and JCB® virtually instantly anywhere their existing smart device has coverage. The consumer receives a transaction authorized in real time and a receipt via email the same way they would if they ordered something online. During the 3 day festival, business owners just complete a simple application and upon approval they can immediately accept payments from their smartphone or tablet. Robust sales tracking and reporting are also included.
Janet Sancho, Blackstone’s President, says as a Cuban owned company we are proud to participate and sponsor events that showcase the Cuban culture, music and art and with the Blackstone Mobile Pay we continue to focus on solutions for the Hispanic market and to create applications and technology that will allow small business owners everywhere to accept payments on the go.
The festival will take place at the Brickell Circle, 401 Brickell Ave, on April 26-28, 2013. For more information please visit www.tasteofcubafestival.com
