BLACKSTONE UNVEILS PREPAID COMMUNICATION CENTER

The Blackstone Prepaid Communication Center makes prepaid e-PIN products (prepaid long distance calling cards, prepaid cellular cards, prepaid telephone service, etc.) available to consumers around the clock. Plus, the owner/operator has the ability to earn additional revenues by staffing the Center to sell postpaid cellular contracts, cellular telephones and accessories from a variety of providers including AT&T Wireless, Cingular, i-wireless, TracFone, Verizon and T-Mobile/VoiceStream.
According to Angel Pacheco, Blackstone’s chief technology officer, “Our Communications Center is unlike traditional vending machines or retail operations – it does not store live inventory, but delivers electronic PINs (e-PINs) for the prepaid products upon payment. Additionally, we have significantly increased the security measures of the e-Vending machine by adding a biometric reader and camera. Every credit and/or debit card transaction requires a finger print and photograph prior to the prepaid product being dispensed.”
Initial testing of the Center was tremendously successful and consumer response has been positive. Users of the Center were complimentary of the simple to follow audio directions and the touch-screen display which enables users to perform functions on the easy-to-read screen. Blackstone will now begin a limited roll out with an initial order of 1000 machines and display cases to be placed throughout the United States. The Prepaid Communication Center is available in a variety of color options and due to its innovative design; it can easily be configured for any location and/or space.
