VISCOM INTERNATIONAL SIGNS AGREEMENT FOR NATIONAL DISTRIBUTION THROUGH BLACKSTONE TOUCH-N-BUY INTERACTIVE KIOSKS
ATLANTA, April 17, 2008 — Viscom International Inc., providers of prepaid products and marketing services for the Hispanic market, announced it has signed a partnership agreement with Blackstone, a privately held provider of interactive point-of-sale systems, to distribute Viscom prepaid phone cards in 6,000 Blackstone Touch-n-Buy interactive kiosks nationwide.
Under the agreement, Blackstone will distribute Viscom’s BEST Mexico™ and BEST Mexico Celular™ prepaid phone cards in $5 denominations, as well as VicoTelTM prepaid phone cards in $3 and $5 denominations.
Touch-n-Buy kiosks are located in independent and national large retailers throughout the United States. In addition, Blackstone has its own distribution network which distributes prepaid cards to over 4,500 independent Hispanic retail locations predominantly in Florida.
With Blackstone’s Touch-n-Buy technology, an interactive touch screen sits on the counter allowing customers to easily access over 100 different products – everything from gift cards to bill payment services to Viscom prepaid phone card products. After selecting his/her product, the consumer pays the cashier who prints the product via a thermal card printer after entering a secure pass code.
